Firebird (ver 1.0): elj database interfaceIntroductionFirebird is a relational database offering many ANSI SQL-92 features that runs on Linux, Windows, and a variety of Unix platforms. Firebird offers excellent concurrency, high performance, and powerful language support for stored procedures and triggers. It has been used in production systems, under a variety of names since 1981.
DetailsYou will need to have a working Firebird / Interbase server up and running. Details (please check for most recent version of this doc from here) are provided in the demo. Download and install the Firebird server from sourceforge (for win32 users: download SuperServer for Windows) Documentation for the moment is limited to the source code:
and an example: Note: For win32 users we provide the appropriate lib (gds32_lcc.lib) file to work with the firebird interface: For Linux users (for the moment), you will need to download firebird and compile for your system (alternatively it may already be configured to your system). |
